Animal Comms Team Training
Formerly known as Dispatch Team training - this year training will focus more on the vital role of the Radio Operator and Whiteboard Monitor positions.
Training will include:
- How to talk on the radio - scripts and practice
- How to keep track of field teams, and what to track
- How to relay Field Assignment changes to the team
- How to handle urgent situations - Animal Comms position.
- The importance of using WhatsApp, and how to use it.
When evacuations slow and work is mostly Shelter in Place these 3 positions can be done by 1 or 2 people, so cross-training is important.
This is a hands-on training; Zoom option is not available.
