Mission Support is where versatility meets impact. It’s the flexible, all-hands-on-deck space for every way volunteers help outside the kitchen and delivery routes—ensuring our mission runs smoothly, shines in the community, and grows stronger every day.

This includes event support like setup, guest check-in, booth hosting, and donor table engagement. It also covers administrative tasks such as data entry, phone calls, and preparing materials, as well as special projects like decorating meal bags, coordinating birthday celebrations for clients, or assisting with group volunteer days.

By stepping into Mission Support, you become part of the engine that keeps The Joy Bus moving forward. You help us stay organized, responsive to new opportunities, and ready to serve through community partnerships and evolving needs. Here, every task—big or small—translates into more kindness, more connection, and more meals for those who need them most.

Volunteers must complete orientation and will receive training based on the projects assigned. Shifts are scheduled as needed.
