Front of House volunteers bring warmth, energy, and hospitality to The Joy Bus Diner. As a FOH Diner Assistant, you’ll welcome guests, engage with them, maintain a smooth front-of-house flow, clean and reset tables, refill beverages, support staff, and help create an environment that’s joyful and inviting. You’re part of the guest experience—making sure every person who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and appreciated.

Volunteers in this role must complete Joy Bus Orientation and hold a valid Arizona Food Handler’s Card. We’re always looking for passionate people to help us bring nourishment and kindness to the Valley. Whether you’re assisting in the diner or prepping meals in the kitchen, your time and energy directly impact the lives of those we serve.
