Arrive at The Joy Bus Diner ready to bring warmth, energy, and hospitality to every guest experience. Make sure you’re wearing closed-toed shoes and have your hair pulled back for safety and cleanliness. Check in with the diner staff for updates and priorities for the day.

During your shift, you’ll:

• Greet guests with a smile and genuine welcome.

• Assist with seating and ensure guests feel comfortable.

• Refill beverages and deliver small items to tables as needed.

• Clear and reset tables quickly to keep service flowing.

• Support staff with light cleaning, stocking, or other tasks that keep the diner running smoothly.

• Engage in friendly conversation with guests, helping create an environment that feels joyful and connected.

At the end of your shift, you’ll help tidy the FOH area, restock supplies, and check out with the manager before leaving. Every interaction you have—whether serving coffee, wiping down a table, or offering a kind word—helps make The Joy Bus Diner a place people love to visit and a mission worth supporting.
