The Joy Bus Kitchen: The Heartbeat Behind the Scenes - Meal Packaging
Your time and care make a direct impact on the people we serve. Every meal you help prepare carries comfort and dignity to our neighbors.
When you arrive, please wear closed-toed shoes, pull your hair back, and put on the hairnet and apron provided on-site. From there, we’ll work side by side to portion meals into containers following program guidelines. Each meal will be sealed, labeled, and packaged with care, then organized in the designated staging area so they’re ready to head out on delivery days.
Before wrapping up, check in with the lead to confirm counts and help with any final cleanup or organization. Your attention to detail ensures that every package leaves our kitchen prepared with love and respect.
Qualifications Required
- TJB Orientation Must be Completed
- Valid Arizona Food Handlers Card Must be Completed
