Dog Walkers
Position Function & Organizational Impact:
- Provide enrichment opportunities for our dogs.
- Assist Animal Care Attendant with dogs.
Time Commitment & Location:
- volunteer a minimum of 10 hours each month with a preference for committing to the same 2-hours (or more) shift each week.

Core responsibilities:
- Check in with staff at the beginning of each shift
- Utilize provided materials to know which dogs can be walked.
- Use appropriate gear as needed per pet.
- Pick up dog waste as needed
- Remain in designated walking areas.
- Make notations regarding pets being walked, behaviors, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Comfortable interacting with volunteer-approved dogs.
- Ability to follow specific instructions.
- Enjoys engaging with PAC visitors, volunteers and staff.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with organizational and department policies and procedures.
- Regular access to email to receive updates.
