Cat Care Provider
Are you a Cat Lover?
Position Function & Organizational Impact:
- Provide basic care for the PAC cats and kittens, including cleaning.
- Assist Animal Care Attendants with cleaning in the cat and kitten area.
- Socialize with cats and kittens and provide enrichment.
Time Commitment & Location Work:
- PAC
- Volunteer minimum of 6 hours per month.
Goals:
- Clean and sanitized shelter environment
- Provide care for pets at the PAC
Core Responsibilities:
- Check in with staff at the beginning of each shift.
- Keep cat and kitten areas clean.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Comfortable interacting with volunteer-approved cats and kittens.
- Ability to follow specific instructions.
- Must be able sit, bend, or stoop.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with organizational and department policies and procedures.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Regular access to email to receive updates.
