Off- Site Adoption Events

Function: Increase community awareness of PAC and our mission statement.
Time Commitment & Location
- Events are usually scheduled for weekends.
- The duration of the event can be up to 4 hours.
- Various community events within the county.
- These events are typically held outdoors.
- You may be required to provide your own transportation to the adoption event.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup of the informational adoption booth.
- Assist with animal handling.
- Assist with questions from the public.
- Present a positive, professional experience to the public.
- Ensure safety of pets and public and pets.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must maintain a positive, professional friendly attitude with the public.
- Comfortable interacting with dogs and or cats.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Must be able to walk, bend, and stoop.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with organizational and department policies and procedures.
