Adoption Centre (Laundry, Cattery, Kennels)
Adoption Centre volunteers commence volunteering in the laundry and help provide a safe environment and sustainable service to the Hospital and Adoption Centre.
Upon completion of their trainee period in the laundry and dependent on availability, Adoption Centre volunteers have the option to progress into volunteering in the Cattery or Kennels and work with staff to provide quality care to the surrendered, stray and abandoned animals that are accommodated in the Adoption Centre.
Kennels volunteers work with dogs, while Cattery volunteers work with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals. Adoption Centre volunteers greatly enhance and enrich the lives of animals for the duration of their stay.
