The application process for all roles involves the following steps:

  1. Read the information and relevant Position Description for the role you are applying for (this can be found under "Our Volunteer Roles"
  2. Apply by filling in an application (top right)
  3. View the 'Welcome to Lort Smith' video in the About section on our website
  4. We will contact you to discuss your nominated role(s) and conduct a group interview to assess your suitability for the role, as well as let you know how to apply for a Police Check.
  5. Attend an induction
  6. Please note: Pet Therapy volunteers also need to complete several further steps. See Lort Smith Pet Therapy.
