Youth Leaders (13-17 without an adult)

- Spend some quality time teaching kids about animals and have fun in the process! In this position, volunteers assist staff with the implementation of children’s camps (ages 7-14) at the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus.
- Under the supervision of staff, volunteers help with activity and game preparation, snacks, crafts, set-up, clean-up, and administrative tasks. Camps take place during spring, summer, and winter breaks each year. Dates and times vary. Volunteers must be able to commit to an entire camp session (1-day or 3-day).
- Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer in this position. No parent or guardian is required to attend, but a waiver of liability is required for all volunteers under the age of 18. Previous experience working with children (i.e. babysitting) is preferred. Volunteers should be responsible, have a positive attitude, and excel working in a team environment. Volunteers must be able to secure their own transportation.
