Community Events Volunteer (18 years old+)
Community Events Volunteer

We invite you (and your social, well-behaved pets*) to become a Community Events Volunteer, representing the Wisconsin Humane Society at local events, business fundraisers, and outreach programs. These community events, also called third-party fundraisers, are coordinated by an individual or business to raise money or awareness for the shelter.
By volunteering, you will play a vital role in connecting our mission to the public. You'll help spread smiles, raise awareness, and inspire support for animals and programs at WHS-- all while helping us strengthen relationships with the community.
What you'll do:
- Attend community events on behalf of WHS (think farmers markets, breweries, craft fairs, dog-days fundraisers, etc.)
- Represent WHS at company and employee-engagement fundraisers.
- Table events to share information on WHS programs, services, and impact.
Create positive, memorable experiences that encourage ongoing community support.
Details:
- There's no minimum time commitment and you can choose which events to volunteer at
We'll provide all the talking points, training, and resources you need
- Event volunteers must be 18 years or older
* Some events request animals to attend. If you have a friendly, well-socialized pet who loves meeting new people and is comfortable in public settings, they may be able to join you as a WHS Animal Ambassador!
