First Aid and Welfare Volunteers care...

First Aid & Welfare Volunteers:

  • provide a basic first aid service at the main site and sub-events (i.e. Grand Parade, Official dinners etc.)
  • do not provide a triage service!
  • conduct regular checks on disabled and medically compromised rally goers

NOTE:  First Aid volunteers should hold a current*, nationally recognised Statement of Attainment from a registered training organisation.

*  NSW Legislation requires CPR renewal annually and basic first aid training three yearly (ref: Safework NSW)
