Programs/Special Events

The library relies on volunteers to support a variety of programs and special events throughout the year. Opportunities may include welcoming and counting guests, taking photos, assisting with activities, and providing general event support. Each shift will include details about the event and volunteer responsibilities, with any necessary training provided before the program begins.

 

Examples of events that we’ve needed adult volunteer help for include our larger events like Community Origami Night, Allen Philharmonic performances, Mr. Darcy’s Dance Party, and FrisCON.
