Youngcare

Join in the fun of Youngcare's Budgie Bolt 5km event on 17 May.

Located this year at the beautiful New Farm Park, participants will enjoy 2.5kms along the river walkway down to Teneriffe Ferry and back to our finish line and Budgie Bolt zone to celebrate their successes. We would love your assistance on the day to help with setup/pack down and also to be our fabulous cheer leaders & course marshalls along the track.   

Timings and assistance needed:

Arrive at 7am

- Setup gazebos & tables with assistance from others. Setup inflatable arch.

- Put corflute signage up along course.

- Setup Giant Lawn games & beanbags under the trees 

From 8am, participants will arrive

- Temporary tattoo application on participants and red hairspray

- Registration assistance & merch sales if req

- Hand out race kits

From 9am, event officially starts

- Cheer participants along the track

- Set up water station

- Course marshall, making sure participants are following the course

10am onwards

- Pack down water station

- Remove signage along the course

- Around 11am start packing up lawn games, gazebos etc
