Exmoor National Park Authority - Get Involved

Our next activity day at our Tree Nursery in Exford is Tuesday 8 April 10am - 3:30pm, when we will be getting the site ready for this year's growing season.

No prior experience is needed and you are welcome to stay for all or part of the day.

We will be working alongside staff from our Woodland team and newly formed Exmoor Pioneers project team.

Jobs for the day include:
 - Prepping and planting seeds
 - Mowing, strimming, hedge trimming
 - Maintenance of the rabbit proof fencing
 - Reconfiguring and digging over the lining out beds
 - Organising the shed areas

Please bring a packed lunch and refreshments with you.

Sturdy footwear essential. Tools provided but pleased bring gardening/work gloves if you have them.

Please use the free public car park adjacent to the school. From where you can walk down passed the wooden ENPA Field Services buildings into the field. The tree nursery is off to the left hand side once in the field.
