Volunteering is a wonderful way to support your community and have fun doing it! Volunteers support KQED in many ways, from welcoming guests at KQED Live events to answering phones and taking donations during fundraising drives.
While most volunteer assignments take place at KQED at 2601 Mariposa St. in San Francisco, some are help offsite at beautiful locations like the Japanese Tea Garden and Filoli Historic House & Garden.
Just fill out the Individual Volunteer Information Form to be considered. All volunteers must be 17 years of age or older and fully vaccinated.

Fundraising Drives (Groups)
Group volunteer opportunities will resume shortly, after being paused during the pandemic. Companies and organizations are encouraged to come in as a fundraising group in exchange for on-air credit during fundraising drives. Some of the benefits of participating include verbal acknowledgements, camera pans of the volunteers, table signs, and an on-air graphic slide.
