About the Tour & Education Outreach Program: The FMH Tour & Education Outreach Program is a volunteer group which helps fulfill the mission of FMH by providing education, preserving history, and promoting awareness of Music Hall. It is coordinated by the FMH Executive Director.

Oversight and Support: Reports to the Executive Director.

Position Summary: FMH Program Guides provide and lead in-depth, knowledgeable, professional and entertaining tours and outreach programming for guests of all ages in order to foster a deeper appreciation of the history of Music Hall.

Program volunteers are committed, caring and valuable to the success of the FMH Tour and Education Outreach Program.  Program Guides are FMH representatives as well as ambassadors for the resident companies (Cincinnnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Opera and May Festival) of Music Hall. Volunteers understand their responsibility to always represent the organizations in a positive and presentable manner. Volunteers who have an interest in art, architecture, history, teaching, public speaking, research or who have skills in customer service, marketing, or administrative support positions are encouraged to apply.

Outdoor tours of the building run May through October. Indoor tours and tours for private events run year round and are scheduled around the building's activities.
