Daily Operations Support - Administrative Support
A volunteer placed in this role may support programs in the following ways:
-Greet clients, visitors, volunteers and notify intended staff members of their arrival.
-Transcribe dictated and/or handwritten material for various programs .
-Perform clerical tasks, such as minute taking, preparing letters, correspondence, assessments, progress reviews, progress notes, reports, applications, mailing lists, brochures, newsletters, etc. .
-File, photocopy, scan and fax documents as necessary. Distribute incoming faxes.
-Enter case profiles and update case profiles.
-Schedule client appointments when necessary. Cancel client appointments and volunteer drives when necessary.
Qualifications Required
- Accessibility Training Must be at least Completed
- Children's Aid clearance Must be at least Completed
- Confidentiality Agreement Must be at least Completed
- ID Badge Must be at least Completed
- Interview Must be at least Completed
- Orientation Session Must be at least Completed
- Police check Must be at least Completed
- Reference checks Must be at least Completed
- Volunteer Agreement Must be at least Completed
