Cultural Connections
Are you looking for a way to feel more connected to your culture or to learn more about Indigenous ceremony and culture? YWCA Regina's ceremony space, apihkêsîs-nôtokwêhtâwin (Old Woman Spider Place), has regularly scheduled weekly volunteer needs. Whether it be feast prep, childminding, medicine cleaning, or resetting the ceremony space, all are welcome who come in a good way. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, no kitchen or ceremony experience necessary. Training provided.
