Database Management Volunteer
Gather, validate and integrate information on Albertan mental health service providers.
Database Management Volunteers will source and update information for MHC’s database of community partners. They will locate information on counselling services, support groups, individual providers, and more by using online search engines and calling/ visiting service providers (please note that visiting providers is optional, and this position can be completed remotely). They also seek to understand and communicate what a typical appointment looks like for each service, and ensure information stays accurate. The database they help create is integral to the success of MHC’s Client Copilots, who use this information to connect individuals with mental health services.
Time commitment: 2-4 hours a week for a minimum 6-month term (with the opportunity to increase volunteer hours as agreed upon by the volunteer and MHC)
