Location: Downtown Dallas, Main Street Garden Park | 1902 Main St. 

Summary:

Join Dallas Hope Charities in sharing Hope (and goodies) for All at the annual Dallas Pride Festival! Grab your pride gear and join us for a day of fun, festivity, and sharing information about all the services that DHC has to offer. for a reimagined afternoon of play and purpose! 

Volunteer Shifts 

• Setup: 10 am - 11am (1hr)
  
  

  • Assist staff with setting up table for the event.
    
    

• Community Engagement: 11am - 2pm | 2pm - 5pm | 5pm-8pm (3hrs)
  
  

  • Represent Dallas Hope Charities while supporting Dallas Pride 2026. 

  • Hand out worthy bags and provide information on resources & support DHC provides.

  • Comfortable engaging with community members
    
    

• Community Engagement & Tear Down: 8pm - 11pm
  
  

  • Represent Dallas Hope Charities while supporting Dallas Pride 2026. 

  • Hand out worthy bags and provide information on resources & support DHC provides.

  • Comfortable engaging with community members

  • Assist in cleaning up the event area and packing up items in an organized manner. 

Requirements

• Comfortable engaging with community members

• Able to stand or walk for extended periods

• Able to lift minimum of 25lbs. 

Dress Code: Blue DHC T-Shirt (one will be provided at volunteer check-in if you do not have one), comfortable pants or jeans, and closed toed shoes.

Additional Info

Check-In/Out: Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins to check in with the DHC staff lead and receive instructions.

Log Hours: You will be asked by your volunteer lead(s) to check in and check out via our Timeclock feature HERE.

You can use your username OR your personal QR code. Please note that when scanning the QR code, you must first open the time clock via Safari to scan the QR code for check-in and out.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend your shift, please notify your volunteer lead as soon as possible.

Liability Waiver: All Hope Dealers must have a current volunteer agreement on file. This only needs to be completed once per year.
