Summary:

Join Dallas Hope Charities for a reimagined afternoon of play and purpose! This year, we are taking our signature fundraiser to the next level by transforming the traditional golf tournament into a gaming-inclusive experience. Whether you’re a pro on the green or a legend in the arcade, there is a place for you to play and provide hope for LGBTQIA+ young adults.

In addition to the gaming action, Chip In For Hope features an online and in-person Silent Auction filled with incredible items like gift card packages, gift baskets, cutting-edge technology, and unforgettable experiences for our generous donors to bid on.

Your support and participation directly contribute to our mission of providing food, shelter, and services that instill dignity, stability, and hope for all. It's a day of giving, gaming, and making a real impact in our community.

Volunteer Role

• Gaming/Tech (2pm - 6pm)  
  • Facilitate gaming equipment (arcade games and consoles) and ensure that all systems are working properly
  • Assist with setting up gaming consoles
    
    

Requirements

• Comfortable engaging with community members
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods
• Able to lift minimum of 25lbs. 

Dress Code: Blue DHC T-Shirt (one will be provided at volunteer check-in if you do not have one), comfortable pants or jeans, and closed toed shoes.

Additional Info

Check-In/Out: Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins to check in with the DHC staff lead and receive instructions.

Log Hours: You will be asked by your volunteer lead(s) to check in and check out via our Timeclock feature HERE.

You can use your username OR your personal QR code. Please note that when scanning the QR code, you must first open the time clock via Safari to scan the QR code for check-in and out.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend your shift, please notify your volunteer lead as soon as possible.

Liability Waiver: All Hope Dealers must have a current volunteer agreement on file. This only needs to be completed once per year.
