Summary:

Join Dallas Hope Charities for our 2026 Speed Networking Mixer! We will be helping LGBTQIA+ affirming businesses and service providers make professional connections at this networking event with a twist!

Volunteer Role: Event Emcee

Requirements:

• Set mood for event, give instructions, and help keep the event on track
• Script will be provided by DHC
• Must be comfortable with public speaking
• Comfortable engaging with community members
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods

Dress Code: Business attire.

Additional Info

Parking: There is a parking lot directly behind Pinkies that you may park in, as well as limited parking in front of the building and additional street parking.

Check-In/Out: Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins to check in with the DHC staff lead and receive instructions.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend your shift, please notify your volunteer lead as soon as possible.

Liability Waiver: All volunteers must complete the volunteer agreement prior to any volunteer activity. If you have not completed one, please sign the document HERE and add it to your profile under "additional information"
