Summary:

Join Dallas Hope Charities as we table at the Out of the Darkness DFW Metro Walk, hosted by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! Volunteers will help with booth set up, guest engagement, and teardown after the walk begins. As a vendor, DHC will be handing out worthy bags and connecting with our community to provide additional support and resources.This is a wonderful opportunity to support AFSP while sharing our mission of instilling dignity, stability, and hope for LGBTQIA+ young adults. 

Volunteer Roles:

Tabling Volunteers - 2pm - 6pm 

• Represent Dallas Hope Charities while supporting the AFSP Out of the Darkness DFW Metro Walk. 
• Help set-up table for the event and tear-down once the walk begins
• Hand out worthy bags and provide information on resources & support DHC provides
• Comfortable engaging with community members in an outdoor area
  
  

Dress Code: Blue DHC T-Shirt (one will be provided at volunteer check-in if you do not have one), comfortable pants or jeans, and closed toed shoes.

Additional Info

Check-In/Out: Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins to check in with the DHC staff lead and receive instructions.

Log Hours: You will be asked by your volunteer lead(s) to check in and check out via our Timeclock feature HERE.

You can use your username OR your personal QR code. Please note that when scanning the QR code, you must first open the time clock via Safari to scan the QR code for check-in and out.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend your shift, please notify your volunteer lead as soon as possible.

Liability Waiver: All Hope Dealers must have a current volunteer agreement on file. This only needs to be completed once per year.
