District Programs - Lunch Buddy
A Lunch Buddy is an adult, age 18 or older, who is matched with an elementary student through the school year. They meet twice a month during the child's lunch and recess time to eat together and spend the remainder of the time playing board games, reading or simply chatting. The Lunch Buddy provides extra attention and an easy way to develop a friendship. Background check required.
Lunch times vary from school to school and grade level. This school year the 40 minute recess/lunch times are between the following times: :
* Carlos 10:50-12:00
* Garfield 10:50-12:00
* Lincoln 11:00-12:30
* Miltona 10:50-12:10
* Voyager 10:25-12:20
* Woodland 10:50-12:40
