Volunteering can bring enormous benefits to both volunteer and organisation. Volunteers are crucial in the NHS’s vision for the future of health and social care. |
What Volunteering means to the NHS!
Volunteers make a huge contribution to the health and wellbeing of the nation, giving their time, skills and expertise freely each year to support the NHS.
What Volunteering means to George Eliot Hospital!
At George Eliot Hospital we are incredibly proud of the dedication, compassion and ongoing support of our Volunteers.
The time Volunteers give every day, in a wide range of roles, makes valuable contribution to the quality of care and patients' experience. Ultimately easing some of the pressures on our staff and making a patient's visit a little more comfortable.
