Concessionaire
Setup cash drawer. Sell our selection of tasty snacks and drinks, including popcorn, candy, soda, alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea. Also sell OFS merchandise and take donations. Use the Veezi Point of Sale (POS) system. Provide friendly customer service. Clean and re-stock the concession stand after each shift. Balance cash drawer and prepare deposit.
Requirements: 3 Concessionaire Trainee shifts, Food Worker Card, Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) if ages 18-21+.
Direct supervisor: Lobby Supervisor / House Manager.
On obtaining your licenses:
- Obtain your licenses at these websites: Food Worker Card, Washington State MAST license
- Send or provide a photo of your test certificate when complete to the Volunteer Director, kelly@olympiafilmsociety.org.
- OFS will reimburse you for licensee fees (typically $10 - $30) when committed to at least five volunteer shifts; just turn in your receipts.
- Concessionaires ages 21+ will need to complete “Class 12 Mixologist Permit MAST.”
- Concessionaires ages 18-20 will need to complete “Class 13 Server Permit MAST.”
- Concessionaires ages 17 and under cannot handle or sell alcohol.
- Your Food Worker card lasts a minimum of 1 year and a MAST permit lasts 5 years, both of which can be used in any organization or job establishment.
