The Recreation Associate assists with various activities at the site. They encourage client's participation in activities. 

Recreation Associate are the extra pair of "helping hands" that add to the trained services of the Long-term care facility staff, working together to enhance the lives of residents

 Volunteers will be in LTC setting, working with the recreation department as well as doing some 1:1 visits in resident rooms. They should have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. 

Volunteers will assist the recreation department with activities.

They will help with setup, participation and the cleanup of the program.

Volunteers will accept direction and feedback from Staff Liaison and report any resident concerns.

They will assist in encouraging and engaging residents to participate in the programs.

Shifts are available Monday - Sunday  Mornings afternoons and evenings
