Melville - St. Peter's Hospital - Admin Greeter Volunteer
To provide information to patients/clients going through the registration process.
•Volunteer age range 16 and older
•Greet patients/clients when they walk through admitting.
•Ensure patients/clients take a number before sitting down in admitting.
•Volunteers must follow proper hand hygiene and infection prevention and control (IPAC) procedures
•Wheelchair return, taking the wheelchairs to the correct departments from admitting/emergency
•Providing information to patients/clients to find their way to the areas needed. The volunteer can either verbally explain how to get to the area or physically walk them there
