Eyes Ears Nose and Paws

Pick up two dogs from our ABEL program at Warren Correctional Institution and take the dogs to a health clinic at the Durham Kennel Club. Wait 30-60 minutes for the dogs to get radiographs and then return the dogs to ABEL (it will likely take less than 60 minutes but could take up to that long). You do not enter the prison -- a facility staff member will meet you in the parking lot or at the gatehouse to switch dogs and supplies.

9:15 AM: Pick up at Warren Correctional Institution: 379 Collins Rd, Manson, NC 27553
10:30 AM: Arrive Health Clinic: Durham Kennel Club, 7318 Guess Rd, Durham, NC 27712 (leave approx 3:15 pm)
12:00 PM (arrival): Return to Warren Correctional Institution: 379 Collins Rd, Manson, NC 27553

• An EENP vehicle is available for use for this transport but please let us know when you sign up if you would like to use it so we can have it ready.
• Volunteer doing transport will need to pass the Canine Care & Safety quiz if not already qualified. The quiz is not difficult!
