*Flower Piano 2026 - Garden Ambassador

Join us as a Garden Ambassador! Garden Ambassadors will welcome, orient, and assist visitors to the Gardens during this annual event. More specifically, Garden Ambassadors will:
- Help with wayfinding by providing guests with directions to pianos, amenities, and the schedule of performances
- Share Garden highlights
- Answer questions about vendor location and availability
- Share Garden etiquette by advising visitors to stay on the paths and dispose of trash properly.
- Share how visitors can continue to support and connect with the Gardens by volunteering, becoming a member or donating (share applicable QR codes or direct visitors to a nearby donation box).
As a Garden Ambassador, you may spend time stationed at a welcome station (may be seated) and/or spend time moving through the Garden to interact with visitors (aka roving). When roving in the Garden, you will be identified with a green volunteer vest. There is flexibility about time spent at the station versus being a rover.
About You: As a volunteer of the Gardens of Golden Gate Park, you enjoy connecting people to plants, the planet, and each other. Garden Ambassadors actively welcome and engage with our visitors during this event and help set the tone for a positive experience at the Gardens. You feel comfortable advising visitors on how to navigate the Garden and enjoy speaking with new people eager to enjoy Flower Piano.
Location: As a Garden Ambassador, you will be positioned within the San Francisco Botanical Garden.
- Roving within the Botanical Garden's living collection
- One of the Welcome Tables (Stations) located in the San Francisco Botanical Garden at:
- Friend Gate/North Gate
- Main Gate
