Join us as a Garden Greeter! Make a meaningful impact and help welcome visitors to two of San Francisco’s most iconic green spaces! Garden Greeter roles are available at both the Japanese Tea Garden and San Francisco Botanical Garden. No prior experience needed—just a friendly attitude and a love for connecting with others! Familiarity with the Gardens of Golden Gate Park and the surrounding area will help with common visitor questions.
As a Garden Greeter, you will:

- Help visitors find the correct path to begin their garden journey; helping with wayfinding may include directions to the correct line, helping visitors identify the appropriate proof of membership, residency or other applicable cards to gain entry efficiently
- Share their enthusiasm for the beauty and serenity of the Gardens of Golden Gate Park and Garden etiquette such as advising visitors to stay on the paths, and that wind can carry debris away easily so disposing trash properly is a necessity.
