Title:

Archives Assistant

Background:

Are you a detailed-oriented person who believes in the importance of preserving our archival heritage? The Archives has various projects requiring volunteer involvement.
Volunteers will be assisting with work related to the archives collection.

Objective:

Assist the Archives staff with tasks related to the improvement of the organization within the Archives.

Duties:

  • Handling fragile material.
  • Improving data records

Qualities:

  • Most volunteers in this area have a background or knowledge in library sciences or archives.

 

Time Commitment:

To be determined by department

Remarks:

Suitability of assignment is subject to ongoing evaluation
