Unfortunately, at this time we have no current available volunteer opportunities at The Alex. However, please feel free to still submit a volunteer application (on the top right of this page) and we will reach out to you when opportunities arise.
Future volunteer roles may include: Community Meal Serving, Community Meal Prep, Cooking Class Assistant, Administrative Support (Volunteer Program Department or HR), Social & Wellness Program Support (Art Program, Game On!), Youth Mentor (2SLGBTQIA+ Youth, Indigenous Youth, Games Night), Casino, Dental Bus Help (Admin or RDA/RDH), Garden Club, and Tax Clinic Volunteer.
To find out more about volunteer opportunities at The Alex Community Food Centre, you are welcome to drop-in during the community lunch on Wednesdays (12-1 pm) or the Cafe & Market on Fridays (9am-11am) and speak to a staff member. Residents of Greater Forest Lawn and community members who have attended Alex CFC programs and community meals are prioritized.
