Our headspace centre's Bentleigh, Elsternwick and Syndal are supported by our lead agency, Bayside Health.

Our Volunteer programs

Each centre’s Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) provides young people with the opportunity to be a voice in their headspace centre and to feel empowered to take positive action that will improve mental health and wellbeing for local young people.

Our headspace Early Psychosis service Youth Peer Volunteer program is for young people aged 18-30 who have a lived/living experience of navigating support services for their mental health, alcohol and/or other drug use, or homelessness. We provide Youth Peer Volunteers training and support to use their lived experience to connect with other young people going through similar experiences.

If you are interested in opportunities to volunteer with headspace please stay connected with our social media and website. If you would like to learn more about the volunteer process, please reach out to your local headspace centre.
