First Special Service Force Host

Job Purpose:

This 5 year renewable exhibit houses a collection of Second World War artifacts, dioramas, storyboards and biographies, along with Post War artifacts, to help viewers understand the history of the FSSF. A mini-theatre loops through a series of documentaries developed by Roger Chabot for viewers to learn more about the Force.  
A dossier of historical documents related to the FSSF has been established at the Military Museums Library and Archives for researchers to access on site. 

As a gallery host in the FSSF Exhibit, you are the first point of contact for visitors to the gallery. You will become (if you are not already!) an expert in the FSSF and share your expertise with visitors.

Position Schedule: During the peek hours at The Museums.
Position Requirements: 

-Knowledgeable of the current exhibit or the desire to learn

-Great customer service and comfortable speaking with the public 

-A passion for history and the stories that come with it 

-A Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check
