Training - Alpine: Shadow Staff Training (Neurodiversity)
This Activity:
As part of staff training, our staff will be learning the CADS (Canadian Adaptive Snowsports) approach to teaching students with neurodiversity. Our instructors will learn specialized approaches for working with neurodiverse individuals, with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and more.
Your Role:
Training sessions like this one are much easier to run when we have a group of people. Volunteers who sign up for this session will act as "students" for our instructors to practice teaching ski technique.
