Misc Sports - Women+ Camp: Ice Fishing
About the Camp: RMA is excited to host this multi-sport camp that will allow female+ participants of all abilities to enjoy the many winter sport and recreational activities with RMA at William Watson Lodge.
Since this camp is targeted towards individuals identifying as Women+, we'd like to especially encourage volunteers who also identify as Women+ to sign up. However, we will also happily welcome any volunteers to join us for this camp and there will be a variety of RMA staff running this camp.
Activity Details:
- Activity: Ice Fishing
- Location: Spray Lakes, Meeting at Driftwood Day Use. (Carpool Option from Program Office in Canmore)
- Time: 12:15pm - 2:45pm
- What to Expect: The participants registered in the Camp will be able to try out some ice fishing! As a volunteer you will be assisting with transferring participants and their chairs onto the ice using our access tracks. If you do not have a fishing license, you will not be able to actually participate in the fishing portion but you will be able to watch and support the participants where they need it!
- What to Bring/Wear: Weather-appropriate layers of clothing, water, nut-free snacks, and anything else you would like for a day outside.
