Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding - Stand-up Ski Lesson with BES (Norquay)
Local Banff school BES (Banff Elementary School) is running group lessons at Norquay for 4 weeks! We are working with BES to provide support for one of their adaptive students.
The student is in Grade 3, lives with Autism and is non-speaking. This is their first time skiing! The student will either be in a group lesson with a Norquay instructor, or in a private lesson with an RMA instructor, depending on staff availability. These details will be confirmed 2-3 days out from the lesson.
Volunteers are not required to commit to the whole program. However, if you would like to attend every week, it is a great way to build friendships with instructors and participants, and see their progression!
