General Event Information

ShredAbility is one of RMA's annual fundraisers - teams of 2-10 compete in a fun all-mountain ski and snowboard scavenger hunt, featuring adaptive challenges, prizes, and a silent auction! The day includes lunch and a lift ticket, and there are volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas - with participants, general on-snow, and coordination roles.

**Pre-Event Meeting: Date - Tuesday April 7th, at the RMA Office in Canmore. Food provided, virtual attendance an option for those not able to attend in person. If you are not able to make this meeting, please email volunteer@rockymountainadaptive.com

This Opportunity

This is an outdoor role, so please wear warm clothes! This role is slightly undefined in that, these volunteers will be floating around between challenge areas helping where they might be needed. These volunteers should be ready to ski or snowboard to and from their locations.

Challenge areas are 3 different areas located on different parts of the mountain. They are generally located in flat areas. Participants will solve clues and find their way to these challenge areas, where they will have to complete a specific adaptive challenge. They will be timed to complete the event, and the fastest of each area will win a prize.

Floaters will be coordinated by the on-site staff and given tasks as the day progresses.
