Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding - Shoulder 2 Shoulder Group Ski at Norquay
Shoulder 2 Shoulder is dedicated to supporting Canadian Forces Veterans, RCMP and their Support Person in the journey towards healing. They provide a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature, and challenge participants both physically and mentally through Snow Sports.
RMA is supporting this camp at Norquay, and there will be at least one RMA staff member present, plus instructors and volunteers from Shoulder 2 Shoulder.
Volunteers who are veterans or have experience as first responders are preferred. Any volunteer who is signed up for this program is encouraged to attend a Meet and Greet evening on Sunday, April 12 (Time and location tbc).
- Location: Mount Norquay Ski Resort
- Timing: Lessons are 9am-12pm, and 1pm-3pm
- What to Wear/Bring: Weather-appropriate layers of clothing, all personal equipment, pass (if you have one), water, nut-free snacks and/or lunch, and anything else you would like for a day of skiing.
- What's Provided: Vest (to be identified as an RMA volunteer), day ticket (if you do not have a pass).
