Biking - Learn to Bike Program
General Program Information
This 6 week program through July and August is designed for never-evers up to beginners who would like to learn how to bike or handcycle on packed or paved trails. A trained RMA staff member will teach the basics of biking to small groups in a safe and supportive environment.
This Opportunity
Volunteers should be comfortable biking on paved trails. Each volunteer will be paired with a participant and act as a tail gunner, assisting with equipment and group management as necessary.
- Location: TBC
- What to Wear/Bring: Bike, helmet, bear spray, water, snacks (nut free), sunscreen/bug spray, weather-appropriate layers of clothing, and anything else you need for a casual bike ride
- What’s Provided: Vest (to be identified as an RMA volunteer)
