Training - Volunteer Training: Bowhead RX and Reach
This training session covers everything you need to know to volunteer with any of our Bowhead private lessons and multi-week programs. Bowhead bikes are e-assisted mountain bikes. By the end of this session, the goal is to have all volunteers familiar with the setup, take-down, and adjustments available with our range of Bowhead bikes. Volunteers will have a chance to be hands-on with equipment, and we will be going on a ride to try different volunteer roles.
This training is open to those comfortable on blue mountain bike trails at minimum. No previous experience with a Bowhead is required.
- Location: Canmore Nordic Centre
- What to bring: Volunteers must bring everything they need for a bike ride. This includes your bike and helmet, as well as appropriate layers, closed toed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottles, snacks (nut-free), sunglasses, and if available, bear spray.
Training for this activity may have to be cancelled/postponed if volunteer signup numbers are low.
Additional details (confirmation of time, exact meeting location) will be sent out 2-3 days before the activity date. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact volunteer@rockymountainadaptive.com
