Outreach - Equipment Showcase for Take Me Outside (Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity)
The 2026 Outdoor Learning Conference will take place in Banff, AB from May 7-9, 2026! The overarching theme for the 2026 Outdoor Learning Conference is “Place and Pedagogy: Where Learning Happens”. This year’s Conference will focus on Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Health & Wellbeing, and Environmental & Climate Change Education.
On Thursday morning RMA will be showcasing a mix of summer and winter adaptive equipment that can be used by students on outdoor field trips. There will be an RMA staff member running this area, but having volunteers who are familiar with some of our equipment will be a bonus!
- Location: Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity (exact location tbc)
- What to Wear/Bring: Comfortable clothing, Banff Park Pass, water bottle, nut-free snacks. This will be outside, please dress accordingly!
- What's Provided: All promotional materials and demonstration equipment
