Pledge Drives
Pledge drives are vital to ensuring Twin Cities PBS has the support we need to serve our community with robust local and national programming and resources. While volunteering, you get to see how live television is produced and engage with likeminded people who value Twin Cities PBS. We will provide all the training you need when you arrive for your volunteer shift.
Pledge Drive Volunteers receive a meal during their volunteer shift and get their parking validated in the nearby ramp.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Answer viewer calls during a live broadcast.
- Accurately input personal and financial information to ensure the pledge donations are processed correctly.
- Provide excellent customer service to viewers who are calling in.
Background Check Requirement: Yes
Typical Time of Year: Pledge drives last for a couple of weeks and happen four times per year: March, June, August, and December. Live pledge dates can also pop up throughout the year, outside of the longer pledge drives.
