Please fill out an application by clicking the link on the right-hand side of this page. After that, you will be able to sign up for any active volunteer postings.
If no postings are currently available, please continue reading to learn more about what kinds of volunteer opportunities are available with Twin Cities PBS. By filling out an application, you will also join our email list to receive notifications when new volunteer opportunities become available.
Please note: you will need to pass a background check for volunteer roles that require you to work with children or sensitive information.

Family Zone at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival
This year, Twin Cities PBS is hosting the Family Zone for the Twin Cities Jazz Festival on Saturday, June 20th. Children and families can come to Twin Cities PBS to enjoy Siama's Musical Instrument Petting Zoo and upside-down pianist Nate Hance. The rest of the activation will be related to the PBS KIDS show, Acoustic Rooster, with clips played, a dance party, a storytime of the book, and hands-on activities. We hope you will consider volunteering with us!
By signing up to volunteer, you agree to the following:
- Able to stand for 3+ hours and comfortable interacting with children and families. (You will be able to take breaks as needed throughout your shift.)
- You are 16 years or older. If you are aged 13-15, you will volunteer with a parent or guardian.
- All volunteers for the Family Zone at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival will be required to pass a background check if you are aged 18 years or older. If you are 17 years or younger, you will not be required to complete a background check.

If you sign up for a shift, be sure to check your spam and junk folder for emails from HireRight.
