2026 Minnesota State Fair - Twin Cities PBS Family Quiet Area/Nursing Nest Host Volunteer
The Nursing Nest tent at the Twin Cities PBS booth provides a quiet place for parents or caregivers to feed their children. Volunteers will monitor the Nursing Nest rooms, interact with parents/kids waiting in line, tidy rooms with cleaning wipes, empty trash cans, refill supplies as needed. Please note - all volunteers may be asked to help with other tasks as needed.
By signing up to volunteer, you agree to the following:
- Able to stand for 3+ hours and comfortable interacting with children and families. (You will be able to take breaks as needed throughout your shift.)
- You are 16 years or older. If you are ages 13-15, you will volunteer with a parent or guardian.
- All volunteers over 18 years of age for the Twin Cities PBS Booth at the MN State Fair will be required to pass a background check.
