You will sit down with clients to discuss their specific HIV risks, the importance of testing, and practical methods for risk reduction, including PrEP education.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct one-on-one risk assessment interviews with clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized risk-reduction strategies.
- Explain testing procedures and provide clear, empathetic education on HIV prevention.
Special requirements?
Basic knowledge of HIV and PrEP are required to start. Training occurs over approximately 4–5 shifts to ensure you feel confident in your counseling. We provide additional educational materials to keep you updated on the latest in HIV care and prevention.
