STD Lab
The STD LAB is designed for those with a background in clinical care. This role is fast-paced and requires a high level of technical proficiency, particularly in phlebotomy. You will be responsible for the primary collection of samples that allow our clients to get the answers and treatment they need.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform blood draws (venipuncture) and collect other diagnostic samples.
- Process laboratory specimens following clinic-specific safety and privacy guidelines.
- Ensure all samples are labeled and stored correctly for transport or analysis.
Special requirements?
Previous phlebotomy experience is mandatory. You must be comfortable and proficient in drawing blood. Once joined, you will undergo approximately two shifts of training to learn BESTD’s specific clinical procedures and paperwork flow.
